Our Story
Krusty's Wacky Heating & Cooling was founded in 2003 by local entrepreneur Herbert "Herb" Krustofski (no relation to any television personalities, he insists). Growing up in Springfield, Herb spent his summers working for his uncle's HVAC company and developed a passion for keeping people comfortable—and making them smile.
After earning his HVAC certification and business degree from Springfield Community College, Herb decided to start his own company with a twist: professional, reliable service delivered with a sense of humor. "People dread calling for repairs," Herb says. "I wanted to make it an experience they'd actually enjoy—or at least not hate!"
What started as a one-man operation in a used van has grown into a team of 15 certified technicians serving all of Springfield and surrounding areas. But one thing hasn't changed: our commitment to honest pricing, quality workmanship, and customer service that puts a smile on your face.
